3M Dual Lock 250 is a black reclosable fastener with 250 stems per square inch and an engaged thickness of .23 inches. It uses mushroom-shaped stems on a polypropylene carrier coated with a synthetic rubber adhesive designed for low surface energy substrates such as plastics and powder-coated metal. The roll measures 10 feet and replaces screws, rivets or hook-and-loop in applications where repeated access or repositioning is required.

As a passive adhesive fastener, this product generates no heat, produces no noise and draws no power during normal use. Performance depends on proper surface preparation and full engagement of the mushroom stems to achieve the rated adhesion of 224 ounces per inch to stainless steel.
