100-piece heat-shrink butt connector kit

This 100-piece kit supplies red heat-shrink butt connectors sized for 22-16 AWG wire. The tinned copper barrels accept 0.5-1.5 mm² conductors and are sealed with adhesive-lined polyolefin tubing that shrinks at a 3:1 ratio. They are aimed at automotive, marine and general electrical wiring where a waterproof crimp is required. The connectors meet CE, RoHS, ISO 9001 and SGS standards.

22-16 AWG capacity with adhesive-lined seal

Each splice handles wire cross-sections from 0.5 to 1.5 mm², covering the full 22-16 AWG range. The inner barrel is crimped once per wire joint, then the tubing is heated to a minimum of 176 °F and fully shrunk at 266 °F. The adhesive melts to form a watertight, insulated seal that operates from -67 °F to 257 °F. Larger gauges or higher-temperature environments fall outside the specified range.

Tinned copper barrel and polyolefin tubing

The thick tinned red copper barrel provides a low-resistance crimp that resists corrosion, while the seamless design prevents wire pull-out. Polyolefin heat-shrink tubing adds high tensile strength and resists mechanical damage such as rodent chewing. Installation requires stripping insulation to 8 mm, crimping with a professional tool, and applying even heat with a heat gun to activate the adhesive seal.
