4.33-Inch Width and 244-Foot Length

Each roll measures 4.33 inches wide and 244 feet long, providing enough media for extended print runs before a change is required. The wax formulation delivers sharp, durable barcodes at speeds up to six inches per second. Very high-volume or abrasive environments may exhaust the roll faster or demand a tougher resin blend.

Thermal-Transfer Wax Limitations

Wax ribbons bond well to coated paper and many synthetics but lack the chemical and scratch resistance of wax-resin or full-resin types. They are not suited for labels that face solvents, extreme heat or heavy outdoor exposure. The cartridge format fits only the ZD420 series, so it cannot be used on other printer models.
