Stereo headset for classroom and office use

The Zaca AC-5002 is a stereo headset designed for K-12 classrooms, offices and home learning. It connects through a single 3.5 mm combo plug that works with PCs, Macs, Chromebooks, tablets and smartphones. An adjustable headband and leatherette ear pads allow the on-ear headphones to fit most head sizes. The ambidextrous boom arm lets you position the microphone on either side.

Single 3.5 mm combo plug compatibility

Audio and microphone signals share one 3.5 mm connector, so the host device must provide a combined headset jack. Separate headphone and microphone sockets will not work without an external splitter that is not included. The plug-and-play design requires no driver installation, but the device must support standard headset profiles over that single port. Volume and mute controls are not present on the cable.

Check your device has a combo headset jack

Verify that your computer, tablet or phone offers a single 3.5 mm headset port before ordering. Systems with separate audio-in and audio-out jacks need a splitter adapter, which is not supplied. The unidirectional noise-cancelling microphone reduces ambient sound for calls and recordings, but it cannot compensate for a missing or incompatible port. No software setup is required once the physical connection is correct.
