USB 3.0 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter

This USB 3.0 Ethernet adapter adds a wired RJ45 network port to laptops, ultrabooks, tablets and MacBooks that lack built-in Ethernet. It supports 10, 100 and 1000 Mbps speeds and works with Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10, Mac OS 10.4 and Linux. The compact aluminium-magnesium alloy housing draws power directly from the USB port so no external supply is needed. The adapter maintains adaptive 10/100/1000 Mbps negotiated links during extended transfers rather than only in short bursts. Automatic MDIX detection handles both crossover and straight-through cables without manual configuration. Sleep and remote wake-up functions remain active under continuous use, and two VLAN ID filtering rules are enforced in hardware throughout the session.
