Ink Compatibility and Filtration Limits

The dampers accept weak solvent, dye, pigment and thermal transfer inks only; they are not rated for aggressive solvent or UV-curable chemistries outside that list. An imported large-area filter structure aims to deliver uniform flow and block particulates that could reach the nozzle. Continuous ink supply depends on the filter remaining clear, so heavily contaminated batches will still clog the element.

Installation Notes and Common Issues

Each damper presses onto the print head inlet; no tools are required beyond standard hygiene practices. The moulded edges are finished without burrs to prevent debris entering the fluid path. The most frequent problem is residual air trapped after fitting, which interrupts flow until purged. Cross-threading the inlet or reusing old seals can also introduce leaks that starve the head.
