Four fixed temperature settings and timed shut-off

The plate reaches a maximum of 165 degrees Fahrenheit and offers four selectable targets of 113, 131, 149 and 167 degrees Fahrenheit chosen by pressing the on/off switch. An automatic timer can be set to two, four, six or eight hours, defaulting to eight hours, so the device turns itself off if left unattended. Only those four temperatures and four timer options are available; there is no continuous adjustment or longer cycle.

Stainless steel and tempered glass construction

The housing combines stainless steel with a tempered glass top measuring 20 by 8.5 by 0.5 inches and weighing 8.8 pounds. A 4.5 inch heating plate sits under a removable food-grade silicone cover that protects against burns and lifts off for cleaning.
