Range and connectivity

The WUQ DISTO D2 measures distances up to 100 metres or 330 feet using a laser module paired with Bluetooth 4.0. It is intended for surveyors, electricians and DIY enthusiasts who need quick single-person readings on site.

Flip-out end-piece and software

A flip-out end-piece allows the tool to hook over edges or sit flush in corners for accurate reference points. Built-in Pythagorean functions calculate indirect width and height measurements when the target cannot be reached directly, while the Leica Disto Sketch app captures and annotates the data on a paired device.

Capacity and limits

The 100 metre range covers most indoor layouts and medium outdoor tasks such as room dimensions, conduit runs or fence lines. Beyond that distance the laser spot becomes difficult to acquire in bright daylight, so very long external spans will require a different instrument.
