This genuine OEM DMD/DLP chip replaces the imaging element in compatible ViewSonic projectors. It is supplied new and has been tested at least three times to project a clear image with no dead pixels. The part fits the PJ256D, PJ402D, PJD5232, PJD5232L and PJD5233 models. Installing it restores the projector’s ability to form a picture.

DLP imaging limits and alignment

A DLP chip relies on thousands of microscopic mirrors that must switch cleanly for every frame. Dust on the optical block or a misaligned light tunnel can still degrade contrast even with a flawless chip. The testing process verifies mirror operation, but it cannot correct external optical contamination or mechanical wear elsewhere in the light path.

Upgrade from a failed or stuck-pixel chip
