The Viega 90400 cap terminates a 1 in press-fit line in potable-water installations. Its 316 stainless body and EPDM O-ring suit residential and light-commercial plumbing where corrosion resistance and clean-water compliance are required. The fitting meets ASTM A312, ASTM A403, NSF/ANSI 372 and multiple ASME/TSSA B31 codes. Installers needing a permanent, leak-free end point on 1 in tubing will find it a direct fit.

Rated for 200 psi and 250 °F in normal service

The cap withstands 200 psi maximum operating pressure and 250 Degrees F maximum operating temperature without degrading the EPDM seal.
