Eight-camera analog kit

This kit provides eight wired dome cameras that connect through BNC cables to a traditional analog DVR. Each unit uses a 1/3 inch Sony Effio CCD sensor producing 600 TV lines of horizontal resolution. The package includes two four-channel 12 V DC power supplies so all cameras can be powered from standard outlets. Buyers who want a wireless or IP-based system cannot use this equipment.

BNC wiring and analog DVR dependency

Video travels over coaxial cable with BNC connectors and requires a compatible analog DVR that accepts NTSC signals. The cameras draw 12 V DC through 2.1 mm centre-positive plugs supplied with the included power supplies. No network interface, Wi-Fi capability or HD-SDI support is present. Builders who need PoE cabling or direct NVR integration will find this kit unsuitable.

600 TVL coverage with 3.6 mm lens

The 3.6 mm wide-angle lens gives a broad field of view for general room or entrance monitoring. Minimum illumination of 0.002 Lux allows usable images in very low light, while automatic white balance and electronic shutter handle changing conditions. Resolution tops out at 600 TV lines, so fine detail at long distance remains limited. Users who need facial recognition at extended range or multi-megapixel recording should look elsewhere.
