Vibra-TITE 56710 is a green anaerobic adhesive designed to bond cylindrical metal assemblies. It fills gaps up to 0.015 in on aluminum, plated metals, stainless steel and steel. The product withstands continuous temperatures from -65 Degrees F to 450 Degrees F and develops a shear strength of 3, 500 psi after full cure. It meets standard GM-1183024 and is supplied in a 10 mL bottle.

Suitable for large-gap metal bonding

This compound suits maintenance and assembly tasks where oil tolerance and high-temperature resistance are required. The 15 min working time allows repositioning of parts before the adhesive sets. Buyers needing instant fixturing or a product that cures without metal contact should consider other chemistries. The formula also requires compatible primers such as Excel 611 or Excel 612 for inactive surfaces.

Apply the adhesive directly to clean shafts, bearings or bushings before pressing the parts together. The anaerobic cure mechanism activates in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces, eliminating the need for external heat or mixing equipment. Full cure is reached in 1 day, after which the joint resists vibration, shock and thermal cycling. The 10 mL container provides enough material for multiple small-to-medium repairs.
