The Vaxcel T0692 is a white two-light security fixture designed for residential exteriors. It mounts on a wall or under an eave and uses two replaceable PAR38 medium-base E26 bulbs rated up to 150 watts each. A built-in dusk-to-dawn photocell activates the unit only after dark, while a 180-degree motion sensor covers up to 70 feet. Four automatic modes let homeowners tailor the response to their property layout.

Upgrade from single-level fixtures

Older single-brightness flood lights either stay dim all night or blast full power at every trigger. This model adds a low-level 30 percent ambient glow that runs continuously after dusk, then jumps to 100 percent output when motion is detected. The adjustable sensor sensitivity and detection distance reduce false activations from passing cars or animals. The jump is worth it when you want both constant pathway visibility and an instant bright alert without rewiring.

Sustained dusk-to-dawn operation

The photocell keeps the low-level 30 percent mode active throughout the night, drawing power only for the two installed bulbs. When motion triggers the 100 percent mode, the fixture delivers full output for the duration of the detection cycle before returning to the ambient level. Because the bulbs are standard E26 PAR38 types, heat dissipation and lumen maintenance depend on the specific lamps chosen by the installer. The adjustable heads and sensor maintain consistent coverage as long as the mounting remains secure.
