General-Purpose Vinyl Dolly 1,200 lb

This solid-deck dolly measures 48 inches long by 24 inches wide and carries up to 1,200 lb. The wooden frame is topped with a rubber-padded vinyl surface that grips loads and protects finished floors. It suits warehouses, workshops and delivery crews moving boxed stock, crates or small equipment on smooth surfaces.

Flush Lip and Strap Securing

The flush lip keeps the deck surface level so items slide on and off without catching on a raised edge. An integrated strap mechanism lets operators bind the load to the deck, reducing shift during transport over thresholds or uneven pavement. The rubber padding further dampens vibration that could loosen unsecured boxes.

Capacity Headroom and Limits

At the rated 1,200 lb the dolly handles stacked cartons, bagged goods and light machinery within its 48-by-24-inch footprint. Loads that exceed the deck area or concentrate weight near the centre will stress the wooden frame beyond its design. Buyers needing higher capacity, larger decks or powered lift assistance should specify a different class of material-handling equipment.

Questions about this item

How often will the vinyl deck surface need replacement under a 1200 lb load?

The rubber-padded wood deck resists wear from heavy loads, but replacement timing depends on usage frequency and floor conditions rather than a fixed schedule.

What limits continuous use first — deck flex or wheel binding?

The solid wood deck with flush ends distributes weight evenly, so wheel bearing friction typically becomes noticeable before any deck deflection appears.

Does the dolly generate noticeable noise or heat when moved all day on concrete?

Wood frame and rubber padding keep rolling noise low, while the non-powered design produces no heat during extended operation.
