Black Steel Pipe for Threaded Plumbing Runs

This Schedule 40 black steel pipe measures 1 inch nominal size by 4 feet overall length with male NPT threads on both ends. Electric resistance welded construction meets ASTM A-53 and ASTM A-733 standards for pressure piping. The 1/8 inch wall thickness provides an inside diameter of 1 3/64 inches and an outside diameter of 1 5/16 inches. It is rated for 150 psi at 150 degrees F and 1315 psi steam pressure at 650 degrees F.

Suited for Low-Pressure Water, Gas and Steam Lines

Installers running water, gas or low-pressure steam in residential or light commercial systems will find the threaded ends and standard schedule compatible with common fittings.
