Tsurumi TE3-80HA 3" Dewatering Pump

The Tsurumi TE3-80HA is a centrifugal dewatering pump driven by a 5.5 hp Honda engine with 163 cc displacement. It is built for contractors and site managers who need to move water quickly from excavations, trenches or flooded basements. The cast iron body and volute with a silicon seal are designed for durability in dirty water applications. A steel frame protects the assembly during transport and on-site handling.

Flow rates at 10 to 80 ft head

At 10 ft of head the pump delivers 245 gpm, falling to 225 gpm at 20 ft, 180 gpm at 40 ft, 125 gpm at 60 ft and 75 gpm at 80 ft. Maximum head reaches 105 ft, so flow stops beyond that point. Maximum suction lift is 26 ft and the self-priming limit is 20 ft, meaning the pump must be positioned within 20 ft vertically of the water surface to prime reliably. The .95 gal fuel tank supports operation between refills.

Recoil start engine with cast iron construction

The Honda engine uses a recoil-start ignition system, so no battery or electric starter is required. Cast iron pump components resist abrasion from sediment while the silicon seal handles typical dewatering fluids. The steel frame adds rigidity and helps dampen vibration during normal running. Engine noise and fuel consumption follow the characteristics of a 5.5 hp air-cooled petrol unit under load.
