The Tritan HCPK209-28 is a new pillow block bearing designed for industrial power transmission applications. It features a cast iron housing with a blue finish and an eccentric locking collar. The unit uses a radial ball bearing insert made from alloy steel with double seals for contamination protection. It suits maintenance teams and OEMs needing a fixed, bolt-through mounted bearing for shaft support.

1 3/4 in bore with 250 °F maximum temperature

The bearing accommodates a 1 3/4 in cylindrical bore shaft and operates between -40 °F and 250 °F. Its fixed expansion type handles radial loads in conveyor, fan and agricultural equipment. The grease-lubricated insert provides adequate capacity for moderate speeds and loads. It runs out of headroom in high-temperature environments exceeding 250 °F or where floating expansion is required.

Cast iron housing with double-sealed insert

The cast iron housing dissipates heat effectively during normal operation while the double-sealed closure retains grease and excludes dust. The eccentric collar locks securely to the shaft without set screws, reducing fretting. Power draw relates to the driven equipment rather than the bearing itself. Noise remains low when the unit is properly aligned and lubricated per the grease specification.
