Long-range point-to-point bridge kit

This kit delivers a preconfigured 5 GHz WiFi 6 AX1200 link between two fixed sites. It includes two TEW-940APBO access points with 14 dBi directional antennas aimed for outdoor alignment. Each unit offers one Gigabit PoE input and one Gigabit LAN port for wired backhaul. The IP55 housing and included mounting hardware support permanent pole or wall installation.

Sustained outdoor throughput

WiFi 6 OFDMA and MU-MIMO handle multiple simultaneous streams to maintain consistent capacity over distance. The directional antennas focus energy on the remote endpoint, reducing interference from neighbouring networks. Proprietary PoE adapters supply power over the same Ethernet cable, avoiding separate outdoor power runs. Performance scales with clear line of sight and proper antenna alignment.

Mounting and alignment workflow

Pole and wall brackets are supplied, so installers only need standard tools and a ladder or lift. The units arrive pre-paired, removing the need for on-site radio configuration. Common issues include misaligned antennas that drop signal below usable levels, and water ingress when cable glands are not fully tightened. Verify IP55 seals and aim using the built-in signal strength LEDs before final torque.
