The design is parfocal with both 2-inch and 1.5-inch eyepieces, preserving focus when switching between them. Brass clamp rings and threaded barrel

Brass clamp rings grip eyepieces securely without marring their barrels, preventing slippage during tracking. A captive lock screw adds a positive mechanical stop so the eyepiece cannot back out accidentally. The barrel accepts 48mm filters directly, allowing nebula or planetary filters to stay in place when the Barlow is used. A supplied 2-inch to 1.25-inch adapter extends compatibility to smaller eyepieces, making the unit work across a mixed eyepiece collection.
