Prime wide-angle for L-mount

This Sigma 35mm f/1.2 DG DN Art lens is built for full-frame Leica L-mount mirrorless cameras. The fast f/1.2 maximum aperture suits photographers who need shallow depth of field and reliable performance in very difficult lighting conditions. Three aspherical and three SLD elements control aberrations for increased sharpness. The kit includes an 82mm UV filter, tulip hood, blower, cleaning pen, microfiber cloth and starter cleaning kit.

Integration with L-mount bodies

The Hyper Sonic Motor provides quick, smooth and quiet autofocus with full-time manual focus override. A customizable AFL button and physical aperture ring with de-click switch give direct control over focus locking and silent aperture changes during video recording. The rounded 11-blade diaphragm produces smooth background rendering. Weather sealing and a protective front coating help the lens withstand adverse shooting environments.

Aperture range and optical limits

The aperture range runs from f/1.2 to f/16, giving wide creative latitude for exposure and depth-of-field control. At f/1.2 the lens achieves extremely selective focus effects, while stopping down extends depth of field for broader scenes. The 35mm focal length covers a classic wide-angle perspective; it does not reach telephoto distances or ultra-wide fields of view.
