The Sea-Dog stainless steel louvered vent measures 5 inches by 9 inches and is built from corrosion resistant 304 stainless steel. This accessory installs with six #6 RH fasteners which are not included.

Simple Surface Mount

Installation requires drilling six holes for the supplied fastener pattern and driving #6 RH screws into the mounting surface. The vent sits flush once secured. What usually goes wrong is using screws that are too long for the panel thickness or omitting a sealant bead, which can let water track behind the flange. Corrosion resistant 304 stainless steel holds up well when the fasteners match the material.
