65" 4K QLED outdoor TV

This Samsung The Terrace LST7D delivers 4K resolution at 3,840 x 2,160 on a 65-inch QLED panel. The NQ4 AI Gen2 processor drives Quantum Matrix technology with Mini LEDs for precise contrast. An IP56 rating protects against dust and water jets. Anti-reflection coating and wide viewing angles maintain picture quality in partial sun environments.

Installation environment checklist

Verify the mounting location receives only partial sunlight or full shade, as this model is not rated for full, direct sun exposure. Confirm the mounting structure supports the display weight and provides adequate ventilation. Ensure a weather-protected power connection and stable network access are available at the install site. Plan cable routing to maintain the IP56 seal integrity.

Upgrade from indoor displays or basic signage

Replaces standard indoor TVs used in covered patios, beer gardens or poolside areas where humidity, dust and bright ambient light degrade performance and lifespan. The jump is worth it when content must remain visible in daytime shade without glare washout. Not suited for installations requiring full-sun brightness or permanent submersion protection.

Questions about this item

Does the box include a wall-mount bracket or do I need to buy one separately?

The TV ships without a mounting bracket; a compatible VESA wall mount must be purchased separately.

What makes the 65-inch Partial Sun model different from a Full Sun version?

The Partial Sun model is rated IP56 and designed for areas with partial sunlight or full shade, while a Full Sun model would have higher brightness for direct exposure.

How does the 3,840 x 2,160 resolution with Mini LED backlighting look in a semi-shaded patio?

The 4K Quantum Dot panel with Mini LEDs delivers 100% colour volume and anti-reflection coating, so HDR10+ content stays vivid even when ambient light shifts.
