SKU CH-V2Z2-QVPVC

An automatic transfer switch rated at 30 amps selects shore power over generator or inverter sources for AC devices

  • TypeKeepsakes
  • Automatic AC source switching protects connected equipment
  • 30 A rating handles typical RV and marine loads
  • Works with inverter, generator or battery bank
  • Transfers to shore power the moment it is present
  • Simplifies off-grid power management for mobile use

Automatic Transfer Switch 30

The Samlex America STS-30 Automatic Transfer Switch routes AC power between two sources without manual intervention. It connects to a generator or an inverter and battery bank, then shifts the load to shore power the moment that supply becomes available. The unit is supplied new and ready for installation in mobile or off-grid electrical systems.

Mobile and backup power installers

Installers who need automatic change-over between shore power and an onboard generator or inverter will find this switch fits the requirement. Builders looking for a manual selector, a different current rating, or integrated circuit protection should look at other products because this model provides only the automatic transfer function at the stated rating.

30 amp rating

The single specification that decides fit is the 30 amp rating marked on the device. The switch is designed to carry that current continuously during transfer operations. Confirm that the intended circuit does not exceed this value before specifying the STS-30 for the project.
