2-Piece Aluminum Shaft Collar for 1-1/8 in Bore

This 2-piece clamp collar fits a 1-1/8 inch round bore and is machined from 2024 aluminum alloy. The split design allows installation or repositioning without removing other shaft components. It suits maintenance, prototyping and light-duty power-transmission assemblies where quick adjustment is required.

Clamping behaviour under continuous operation

The two alloy-steel screws distribute clamping force evenly around the shaft, maintaining grip during sustained vibration or reversing loads. Because the collar is not a single solid ring, it resists the distortion that can loosen set-screw types over long runs, keeping alignment stable in conveyors, actuators and test rigs.

Thermal expansion and weight in normal use

Aluminium construction keeps the collar light and reduces rotating inertia compared with steel equivalents.
