Quick-Connect Telescopic Handle

The Rubbermaid HYGEN Quick-Connect telescopic handle extends from 48 to 72 inches for commercial cleaning tasks. Lightweight aluminium construction reduces fatigue during extended use. A one-step connecting mechanism speeds mop assembly and changeover on the job. The user-friendly grip improves comfort during repetitive motions.

Practical Reach Limits

The handle locks at any length between 48 and 72 inches to match ceiling heights or floor areas. Aluminium tubing resists bending but can flex under heavy lateral pressure. Quick-Connect fittings accept only compatible HYGEN mop frames and accessories. The grip surface remains secure when wet but offers no insulated protection.

Upgrade From Fixed Handles

This telescopic pole replaces fixed-length handles that require multiple sizes for different tasks. The adjustable range eliminates the need to carry separate short and long poles. Quick-Connect ends swap mop heads faster than screw-on or clamp designs. The jump is worth it when crews clean varied surfaces daily.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 48 inch or 72 inch setting for my cleaning tasks?

The handle telescopes from 41 to 72 inches so you can set any length in that range rather than picking a fixed size.

How does the 41 to 72 inch range feel when I am actually mopping a floor?

Lightweight aluminum keeps the pole easy to manoeuvre at full 72 inch reach and the ergonomic grip reduces strain during extended use.

What does the Quick-Connect system attach to and does it limit the tools I can use?

The 1-step mechanism locks onto compatible Rubbermaid HYGEN mop frames instantly and releases just as fast for quick changeovers.
