Rubbermaid Commercial FG395973BLUE 50 gal square recycling can blue cleaning

Square 50 gal recycling container

The square plastic can holds 50 gallons of recyclables and fits flush against walls or in corners to save floor space. It is designed for mail rooms, copy rooms, break areas and other locations where high volumes of paper, cans and plastic are collected. The blue colour supports standard recycling identification programmes.

Replaces round bins of similar footprint

Square geometry delivers higher capacity than a round can using the same floor area, so the upgrade is worth it when collection volumes exceed what smaller wastebaskets can handle. Plastic construction resists fading, cracking, corrosion and denting, and it weighs less than metal equivalents for easier handling when full. The step up makes sense wherever larger amounts of recyclables accumulate regularly.

Handles high-volume collection points

The 50 gal capacity comfortably serves busy copy rooms, break rooms and central collection areas without frequent emptying. It runs out when waste streams exceed this volume between service intervals or when specialised streams require separate dedicated containers. The square shape keeps the footprint predictable for facility layout planning.
