12-Volt Power Port with 6' Cord

This RoadPro accessory adds a 12-volt outlet wherever a 16-gauge wire can reach. The six-foot cord lets you position the port on the dashboard, console or rear seat area. A safety-sealed spring closure keeps dust and moisture out when nothing is plugged in.

16-Gauge wire limits continuous current

Sixteen-gauge conductors restrict the safe continuous load to roughly ten amps at twelve volts. Devices that draw more — such as high-wattage inverters or heated appliances — will overheat the cord and should not be used. The spring cover protects the contacts but does not raise the ampacity.
