Check your exact model number before ordering

The cartridge fits Ricoh Aficio MP C6502 and MP C8002 printers, Lanier MPC6502SP and MPC8002SP models, and Savin MPC6502SP and MPC8002SP units. Verify the printer label matches one of these numbers; other Ricoh, Lanier or Savin devices are not supported.

Sealed cartridge protects powder until installation

The new cartridge arrives factory-sealed to prevent toner spillage and moisture ingress during storage. Its moulded housing aligns with the printer's toner bay for straightforward insertion, and the high-yield design reduces the frequency of replacements in daily use.

Questions about this item

Does the 842083 toner cartridge ship with any drum units or waste containers, or are those purchased separately?

The box contains only the black toner cartridge rated for 48500 pages. Drums, waste containers and maintenance kits are sold separately for the MP C6502 and MP C8002 series.

My fleet includes both Ricoh MP C6502 and MP C8002 models — will one 842083 cartridge work in both?

Yes. The 842083 is listed as compatible with Ricoh Aficio MP C6502 and MP C8002, plus the matching Lanier and Savin MPC6502SP and MPC8002SP printers.

What does the 48500-page yield mean when the cartridge is used in a high-volume MP C8002?

The 48500 figure follows the standard test method at 5 % coverage. Heavy graphics or duplex jobs on the MP C8002 will reduce the actual page count below that number.
