Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 277V 2000W element is heating correctly after installation?

Verify the supply voltage reads 277V at the terminals, then measure amp draw; it should be close to the calculated value for a 2000W load at that voltage.

What comes in the box with the SP10871GL element and what must I supply separately?

The box contains the 277V 2000W heating element only; you must provide mounting hardware, wiring, and any required gaskets or seals for your specific Rheem Vanguard unit.
