This directional antenna kit is built for the Verizon Jetpack MiFi 4620L hotspot. It targets users in weak-signal areas who need a focused outdoor antenna to pull in distant LTE towers. The kit bundles the antenna, 50 ft of 400-series coaxial cable, lightning protection, a jumper cable and a model-specific pigtail so every connection mates with minimal attenuation.

Replaces the hotspot's internal antennas

The kit substitutes the Jetpack's built-in antennas with a 12 dBi Yagi covering 698 to 2700 MHz and a low-loss feed line. Insertion loss on the 50 ft run is under 1.9 dB at 698 MHz and under 4 dB at 2700 MHz. The jump is worth it when the hotspot sits indoors or in a vehicle and cannot hold a usable connection on its own. Order two kits if both LTE ports need boosting.

Directional aim and single-port design

The Yagi's narrow beamwidth demands precise aiming at the target cell tower; it will not help if the signal comes from multiple directions. The kit boosts only one antenna port unless a second kit is purchased. The 50 ft cable length fixes the maximum separation between antenna and hotspot, and the pigtail is specific to the 4620L so it cannot be reused on other devices.
