This pack contains five reusable beeswax bowl covers in diameters of 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 centimetres. The elastic edges stretch to fit mixing bowls, proofing baskets and jars of different shapes. They are designed for home bakers and cooks who want a washable alternative to single-use wrap for everyday food storage and bread proofing.

Temperature range and material limits

The beeswax coating works between 23 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit, or minus 5 to 35 degrees Celsius. Above this range the wax may soften or deform, while below it the fabric becomes less pliable. The covers are not microwave safe and must be hand washed in cold water with mild soap before air drying.

Breathable cover for proofing and fridge storage

The cotton and beeswax construction lets dough retain moisture during proofing without sealing it airtight. The set handles leftovers, cut fruit, picnic prep and freezer storage, but it is not intended for raw meat or fish. Each cover is reusable for roughly one year and can then be composted.
