Freestanding lectern with casters

This freestanding lectern moves on four casters so it can be positioned anywhere in a room. The podium shelf is angled toward the speaker and includes a raised edge to keep reference material in place. Two fixed shelves on the back hold supplies or personal items out of audience view. The unit is finished in Ash Grey laminate.

Ash Grey laminate construction

The lectern uses 1-inch thick thermal fused melamine laminate with a 3-millimeter commercial grade matching PVC edge. Laminates are scratch, stain and scald resistant for lasting appearance. The finish coordinates with the rest of the Legacy conference collection. No additional accessories or software are bundled with this item.

Simple roll-into-place setup

Because the lectern arrives on four casters, installation consists of rolling it to the desired location and locking the wheels if required. The fixed shelves are already attached so no assembly of storage areas is needed. The main risk is uneven flooring that could cause the unit to roll unexpectedly before the casters are secured.

Questions about this item

How often will the 3-millimeter PVC edge banding need attention?

The commercial-grade PVC edge is fused to the 1-inch melamine core and resists chips from daily cart traffic; no scheduled replacement is expected under normal use.

Which surface shows wear first when the lectern is rolled between rooms all day?

The four casters absorb the rolling load, so their bearings and tread will reach a service limit before the laminate panels do.

Does the lectern generate any noise or heat when left in position for a full conference day?

It has no motor, fan or powered components, so it adds no audible noise or measurable heat to the room.
