Six-line entry-level Business Media Phone

The Polycom VVX 310 is a six-line entry-level Business Media Phone built for cubicle workers who handle a low to moderate volume of calls. It delivers crystal clear communications through Polycom HD Voice up to 7KHz on all audio paths. The phone uses SIP Voice Over Internet Protocol and features a backlit grayscale graphical LCD with a 208 x 104 resolution. It is designed for small and medium business environments.

Sustained operation via Power over Ethernet

The phone is intended for continuous operation using Power over Ethernet, drawing power directly from the network infrastructure. This PoE design reduces deployment and maintenance costs by eliminating the need for individual power adapters at every desk. An optional AC adapter is available separately but is not included in the box. The Zero Touch Provisioning and web-based configuration tool simplify ongoing administration, upgrades, and maintenance tasks.

Verify PoE infrastructure and network speed

Before ordering, confirm that your network switches or midspan injectors provide Power over Ethernet to the desk locations where these phones will sit. The unit includes two Ethernet ports rated for 10/100 or GigE connectivity, so check your cabling and switch ports support the desired speed. Ensure your UC platform supports SIP and the open APIs used for third-party application integration. The optional AC adapter must be sourced separately if PoE is unavailable.
