Lightweight carry-on for gear transport

The Pelican 1535 Air case uses proprietary HPX polymer to stay up to 40% lighter than comparable polymer cases while remaining crushproof and dustproof. A watertight O-ring gasket and automatic purge valve balance internal pressure during altitude changes. Stainless steel hasp protectors and double-throw latches secure the lid under rough handling. The conic-curve lid shape adds structural rigidity without extra weight.

Sustained protection during transit

Honeycomb structural elements and full-box sections distribute impact forces across the shell rather than concentrating them at single points. The HPX resin rebounds after compression instead of cracking, so repeated drops or stacked loads do not degrade the case integrity. Watertight sealing holds against prolonged exposure to rain, spray or dust storms. The automatic valve equalises pressure continuously, preventing seal fatigue on long flights or multi-day trips.

TrekPak divider system and daily handling

The included TrekPak divider system lets you configure interior compartments to match specific equipment layouts without cutting foam. Rubber overmoulded handles on the top and side give a secure grip when lifting the case into overhead bins or vehicle boots. Integrated wheels and a retractable handle allow smooth rolling through terminals, while the low-profile silhouette fits standard carry-on sizers. Stainless steel hasps accept padlocks for added security when the case is checked or left unattended.
