Watertight Copolymer Hard Case

The Pelican 1300 Protector Case is a new, black hard case moulded from Ultra High Impact structural copolymer. It provides an unbreakable, watertight, airtight, dustproof, chemical resistant and corrosion proof enclosure for equipment that must survive harsh environments. The 0.25" (6.4 mm) neoprene o-ring and ABS latches create a perfect seal, while an automatic purge valve equalises pressure after altitude changes. It suits professionals transporting sensitive instruments, electronics or tools.

Sustained Environmental Protection

Under continuous exposure the copolymer shell resists impact, vibration and shock without cracking, maintaining its watertight and dustproof integrity over time. The automatic purge valve prevents vacuum lock during repeated pressure cycles, so the case opens reliably after flights or elevation changes. Chemical resistance and corrosion proof construction mean the exterior withstands solvents, salt spray and industrial atmospheres without degradation. Optional high-density foam can be added to immobilise contents against prolonged vibration.
