Questions about this item

How often should the carbon steel links be inspected for wear or corrosion?

Inspect the chain before each use and replace it if any link shows stretching, cracks, or significant rust that reduces the cross-section.

What is the first limit reached when the chain is loaded continuously near its working load?

The Grade 70 rating defines the working load limit; sustained loading at or above this value will cause permanent elongation of the carbon steel links.
