Patco 5560 is a removable protective film tape built for temporary surface protection during assembly or shipping. The clear polyethylene film backing conforms to plastics, glass and metal while the moderate-tack acrylic adhesive holds securely yet releases without residue. It serves industrial and workshop users who need clean removal after transit or fabrication.

Moderate tack and low adhesion limits

The adhesive provides slightly less grip than blue painter’s tape, so it stays in place through handling but will not bond aggressively. It resists abrasion, moisture and solvents, yet it is not a static-cling film like the discontinued 3M 2112C and does not offer crystal-clear optical clarity. Surfaces requiring high-strength holding or invisible seams fall outside its design envelope.

96 mm width by 36 yard length on 3 inch core

Each roll delivers 96 mm actual width and 36 yards of continuous film, cut to the standard metric sizing that runs about five percent narrower than the nominal four-inch callout. The three-inch diameter core fits common dispensers. Very large-area masking jobs will consume multiple rolls, while tasks needing permanent bonding or ultra-transparent finish are not suited to this tape.
