These flat poly bags measure nine by twelve inches and are made from one mil clear polyethylene. They arrive in a pack of one thousand and are intended for general shipping, mailing and light storage tasks. The transparent material lets you see contents without opening the bag.

Durability under repeated packing

At one mil thickness the bags resist tearing during normal handling and can hold lightweight items through the packing and transit cycle. They are not designed for heavy or sharp objects that would stress the film beyond its rated gauge. Continuous rough handling will eventually cause splits at the seams.

Simple opening and common issues

The bags lay flat and separate easily for high volume packing lines. Static cling can make individual bags stick together in dry environments, slowing the workflow. The open top has no built in closure so tape, heat sealing or twist ties must be supplied separately.
