Parker 619 Liquid Line Dryer
The Parker 619 is a liquid line filter dryer designed for HVAC and refrigeration systems. It suits technicians and installers who need reliable moisture and contaminant removal during service or new installations. The unit handles all CFC, HCFC and HFC refrigerants including R-22 and R-410A. Its copper construction and solder connections provide a permanent, leak-free joint.
Thermals noise and power draw
As a passive component the dryer has no moving parts, draws no electrical power and generates no audible noise. It simply filters refrigerant as it flows through the copper body. Normal system pressures and temperatures are managed by the equipment the dryer is installed in. No fan, pump or electrical connection is required for operation.
Replaces older filter dryers
The 619 replaces worn or saturated filter dryers on existing liquid lines using 1/4 inch solder fittings. It is the correct choice when a system is opened for repair, when refrigerant is changed or when moisture indication shows the current dryer is spent. The directional flow design with charging valve adds service convenience. It is not for suction line applications or systems requiring a larger connection size.

Questions about this item
How do you install the Parker 619 liquid line dryer and what step is often missed?
Solder the 1/4 in connections in the direction shown by the arrow on the body; the step often missed is flowing nitrogen through the copper while brazing to prevent oxide scale.
What maintenance or replacement will the Parker 619 need over time?
Replace the filter dryer whenever the system is opened for service, after a compressor burnout, or when a pressure drop across the 1/2 ton R-22 or R-410A rating indicates the desiccant is saturated.
What limit appears first on the Parker 619 during sustained high-load operation?
The 1/2 ton capacity rating for both R-22 and R-410A is the limiting factor; exceeding it causes excessive pressure drop and reduced moisture removal.
