Patch-cord lock-in kit
The Pannet PSLDCPLE kit supplies ten red lock-in devices plus a dedicated removal tool. Network installers and facility managers use these pieces to secure patch cords in flush-mounted jacks, stopping unauthorised or accidental disconnection in data centres, wiring closets and office cabinets.
Extended hood and removal tool
Each device incorporates an extended hood that shields the locking mechanism from tampering and snagging. The bundled removal tool lets authorised technicians release a cord quickly without damaging the jack or the latch, turning a potential service call into a one-hand operation.
Snap-in installation
Devices press straight into the jack opening until the latch engages; no screws, adhesives or special crimpers are required. The only common issue is forgetting the removal tool on site, which makes authorised changes slower until the tool is retrieved.

Questions about this item
Do the red lock-in devices wear out and need replacing after repeated insertions?
The lock-in devices are passive mechanical pieces with no moving springs or contacts; they do not wear out under normal patch-cord insertion cycles and only need replacement if physically damaged.
What stops me from adding more than ten locks to a single panel?
Each lock occupies one port opening, so the number of usable ports on the panel is the practical limit; the pack simply supplies ten devices and one removal tool.
Will the removal tool or the locks get hot or draw power when the cabinet runs continuously?
Neither the plastic lock-in devices nor the removal tool contain electronics or conductive parts, so they generate no heat and consume no power during continuous operation.
