throw laser projection

The Panasonic PT-VMZ7STBU7 is a short-throw laser LCD projector built for business environments. It produces 7000 ANSI lumen brightness and a native 1920 x 1200 WUXGA resolution. A 3000000:1 contrast ratio and Digital Link connectivity support clear images and simplified cabling. The unit accepts 4K signal input and projects display sizes from 70" to 250".

Professional installation scenarios

This projector suits meeting rooms, classrooms and digital signage where a short throw distance is required and high ambient light is present. Laser light source and high lumen output reduce maintenance and ensure visibility in bright spaces. Buyers who need a portable home-cinema unit or a lower-brightness model for dark rooms should look at something else.

7000 ANSI lumen brightness

The 7000 ANSI lumen rating is the single specification that determines whether this model meets the ambient-light demands of the intended installation. It dictates image visibility in well-lit conference halls and large classrooms. Verify that the required screen size falls within the 70" to 250" range and that the short-throw geometry matches the room layout.

Questions about this item

How bright will the 7000 ANSI lumen output actually look in a lit meeting room?

The 7000 ANSI lumen rating means the image stays clear and readable even with lights on or daylight coming through windows, so you rarely need to dim the room for presentations.

What does the 4K Signal Input over Digital Link actually support?

It accepts a 4K source signal and scales it to the native 1920 x 1200 panel, letting you connect modern 4K devices without a separate converter while using a single long cable run.

How much space behind the screen does the short-throw lens need for a 70-inch image?

The short-throw design places the projector close to the wall, so a 70-inch picture fits in tight rooms where a standard lens would need several metres of throw distance.
