The Optoma UHZ58LV is a new home-theater projector that produces native 3840 x 2160 resolution with a dual-laser light source rated at 3000 lumens ISO brightness. It covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision for expanded dynamic range. The DLP engine delivers a 16:9 image from 20 to 320 inches diagonally, making it suitable for dedicated cinema rooms or bright living-room setups.

Check throw distance and HDMI needs

Verify that your room allows a projection distance between 1.0 m and 9.9 m to match the 1.4 to 2.24:1 throw ratio. The vertical and horizontal keystone correction each adjust ±30° for off-centre placement. Ensure your source devices can connect via the two HDMI 2.0 ports and one HDMI 2.1 port, and confirm that your audio system can accept the mini-jack output or use the RJ45 and RS232 ports for network and control integration.

Compact laser chassis with flexible mounting

The black cabinet houses a maintenance-free laser module that eliminates lamp replacements, while the manual zoom and focus rings span a 20.91 to 32.62 mm focal range for precise image sizing. Horizontal refresh rates from 15 to 255 kHz and vertical rates up to 240 Hz support high-frame-rate content. The fixed mini-jack, RJ45 and DB-9 RS232 connectors sit on the rear panel, so allow cable-routing space behind the unit during installation.
