This Ninestar Technology 206A cartridge replaces the HP 206A W2111A cyan toner for HP Color LaserJet Pro M255 and M282 or M283 series printers. It is sold as a single new unit with standard yield and a two-year shelf life. The cartridge is manufactured to meet or exceed OEM requirements and its use does not void the printer warranty.

Chip-free design requires original chip transfer

Because the cartridge ships without a chip, you must move the chip from your empty HP 206A cyan cartridge onto this unit before installation. The plastic housing matches the OEM form factor so it seats correctly in the printer once the chip is fitted. Operating conditions are 10 °C to 30 °C and 20 % to 80 % humidity; storage range extends from −20 °C to 40 °C.

Verify printer model and chip availability before

Confirm your printer is one of the listed Color LaserJet Pro models — M255dw, M255nw, MFP M282nw, M283fdn, M283cdw or M283fd — because other HP printers will not accept this cartridge. You also need a spent HP 206A cyan cartridge whose chip is still functional; without that chip the printer will not recognise the toner. This product is not for buyers who need a cartridge with a pre-installed chip or who own a different printer series.
