Hazard-zone headlamp for gloved hands
The Nightstick XPR-5552G is a USB-C rechargeable headlamp certified for ATEX Zone 0/20 and Class I Div 1 hazardous locations. It delivers 200 lumens on high and up to 40 hours of runtime on low, weighing 1.8 oz (51 g). Dual switches let workers cycle white, green and red modes while wearing thick gloves, and a three-second hold activates flashing white.
Dual-lock adhesive replaces headband
A 3M dual-lock adhesive pad ships with the light so it can mount directly to a hardhat without a strap. The translucent switch housing doubles as a charge indicator, glowing to show USB-C charging status. Battery Safe Mode locks the switches to prevent accidental activation during storage or transport, preserving charge between shifts.
IP-67 polymer survives 2 m drops
The PC/ABS polymer housing is rated IP-67 waterproof and dustproof and withstands a 6.5 ft (2 m) drop onto concrete. Installation is simply peeling the adhesive liner and pressing the light onto a clean hardhat surface; the only common issue is reduced bond strength on oily or textured shells, which a quick alcohol wipe solves.

Questions about this item
How long will the rechargeable battery last before it needs replacing?
The integrated battery is charged via USB-C and supports up to 40 hours of runtime on low mode.
What stops the light from running continuously on high during a full shift?
High mode delivers 200 lumens and depletes the charge faster than low mode, so runtime is the limiting factor.
How much heat does the headlamp produce when worn all day?
The lightweight 51 g polymer body stays cool during extended use because the LED floodlight runs efficiently.
