Projection Alarm Clock with AM/FM Radio

This Naxa NRC-173 clock projects the time onto any wall or ceiling for easy viewing from bed. It includes an AM/FM radio with digital preset memory for quick station access. Two independent alarm timers allow separate wake-up times. The unit runs on AC 110V power and requires two AAA batteries for backup.

Suitable for bedrooms needing dual alarms and radio

Buyers who want a projection display, two separate alarm settings, and the option to wake to radio or buzzer will find this model fits those needs. It is not for users who need Bluetooth streaming, smartphone charging ports, or a battery-only portable design. The fixed AC power requirement also makes it unsuitable for locations without a mains outlet.

AC 110V powered with AAA battery backup

The clock operates from a standard 110V mains supply, so a wall socket is essential for daily use. Two AAA batteries maintain the time and alarm settings during a power cut but cannot run the projection or radio functions. This power arrangement determines whether the unit works in your intended location.

Questions about this item

Does the Naxa NRC-173 include the 2 AAA batteries needed for clock backup, or must I buy them separately?

The clock requires 2 AAA batteries for backup power; they are not included, so you will need to purchase them separately.

Should I choose the version that plugs into 110 V AC or one with a different voltage input?

This model runs on 110 V AC mains power; there is no alternative voltage version listed, so select this one for standard household outlets.

When the NRC-173 projects the time onto a wall, how clear is the display in a normally lit bedroom?

The adjustable projector throws the time onto any wall; clarity depends on distance and ambient light, but the focus can be tuned for a sharp image.
