This MPC 970 package combines a Ramchargers dragster and an Advanced Design transport truck in a single box. Both kits are moulded at 1/25 scale and rated Skill 2 for adult builders. The set includes chrome-plated parts, black vinyl tyres, metal axles and colourful decal artwork. Paint and cement are required to complete the models.

Upgrading from single-subject kits

Builders who have completed single-vehicle kits gain two distinct subjects that interact: the dragster sits on the truck bed for a combined display. The jump is worth it when you want a period-correct hauler-and-load scene with swivelling cab, opening tailgate and authentic Ramchargers rail chassis details. The butterfly steering wheel and blown 426 drag engine add specific drag-racing hardware not found in generic car kits.

Display capacity and limits

The finished pair delivers a complete drag-transport vignette with movable windshield, Mag-Type wheel covers and custom interior trim. Chrome trim can be striped with silver paint for extra realism. The kit stops at the two supplied subjects; buyers who want a full race-team diorama with support vehicles, figures or trackside equipment will need additional kits. The 1/25 scale fixes the footprint, so shelf depth must accommodate the combined length.
