The Motorola MC9596 is a rugged mobile computer built for logistics, warehousing and field-service teams that need reliable data capture in tough environments. It runs Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5 Professional on a Marvell PXA320 processor at 806 MHz with 256 MB RAM and 1 GB flash storage. The integrated SE4500 imager reads both 1D and 2D barcodes quickly.

Wide Keyboard and Wireless Options

A 3.7 inch VGA colour touch screen at 480 x 640 works with the alphanumeric wide keypad for fast data entry while wearing gloves. Connectivity includes 802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and IrDA for peripheral pairing. An SD/MMC slot allows storage expansion, while HSDPA penta-band GSM at 850, 900, 1800, 1900 and 2100 MHz plus GPS keep workers connected worldwide. Chargers are sold separately.
