Universal 1-inch speaker spacer rings

The Metra 82-4300 adapter plates let installers mount 5.25, 6 or 6.5 inch aftermarket speakers into factory locations that are too shallow. They add one inch of extra depth behind the speaker basket. The rings are moulded from plastic and sold as a pair for car audio upgrades.

Not for vehicles without the matching factory

Buyers whose doors or rear decks lack a 5.25, 6 or 6.5 inch opening cannot use these spacers. They also do not suit installations that require more than one inch of additional clearance or a metal mounting surface.
