USB-C EPR cable for 240 W charging

This Manhattan cable carries the USB Power Delivery 3.1 Extended Power Range specification, enabling up to 240 watts at 48 volts and 5 amps. It connects USB-C chargers, power banks or docking stations to laptops and other devices that accept high-power input. The cable is backward compatible with older PD chargers, so it works with existing 100 watt or lower sources. It replaces proprietary barrel-tip bricks with a single universal connector.

240 W headroom and SPR fallback

The Extended Power Range raises the ceiling to 240 watts, nearly 2.5 times the 100 watt limit of the previous Standard Power Range. Devices such as a 16 inch MacBook Pro or modern gaming laptops that draw above 100 watts can charge at full speed from any compliant PD 3.1 source. When connected to a legacy PD 3.0 charger, the cable negotiates the lower SPR voltage and current automatically. It does not increase the power a non-EPR charger can deliver.

Male-to-male USB-C construction

Both ends use standard USB-C plugs, so the cable fits any USB-C port without adapters. The USB 2.0 data rating means it handles basic sync and peripheral traffic while prioritising power delivery. The plug moulding is sized for everyday insertion cycles on laptops, docks and wall chargers. No active electronics or optical components are present; the cable relies on the PD 3.1 handshake for safe high-voltage operation.
