1-1/4" Copper Press Elbow

This 45-degree elbow joins two 1-1/4 inch copper tubes with a press connection, forming a smooth directional change in potable-water or hydronic systems. It is intended for professional plumbers and mechanical contractors who use press-tool workflows instead of soldering or threading. The fitting carries the Legend Valve brand and meets the dimensional requirements for standard press-joint installations.

Sustained system pressure

The pressed joint maintains a permanent, leak-resistant seal under continuous operating pressure and thermal cycling typical of hot-water recirculation and heating loops. Because the connection is mechanical rather than soldered, there is no risk of cold joints or flux residue affecting long-term reliability. Press-tool installation

Installation requires a compatible press tool and the correct jaw set for 1-1/4 inch tubing; the tube ends must be cut square, deburred and marked to the full insertion depth before pressing. Common errors include insufficient insertion depth, misaligned jaws or pressing tubing that exceeds the allowed ovality tolerance, any of which can prevent a complete seal. The fitting ships with a California Proposition 65 warning for chemicals known to cause cancer and reproductive harm.
